Chris Ryan is a filmmaker and composer from Massapequa, NY with big dreams and a passion for musical storytelling. A collaborator at heart, his earliest aspirations were to direct. However, after discovering Michael Giacchino’s score to the hit drama 'LOST' at age fourteen, Chris began to show an interest in film scoring. Four years later and after an incredible experience premiering his first symphonic work with his high school orchestra, he knew he had found his calling. A recent graduate of the University of Miami with double majors in film and theatre production, Chris has independently lent his ears to dozens of productions over the past four years, many of which have gone on to receive recognition at both the university level and beyond. At the end of the day, Chris just wants to help tell stories that can affect people in the same way that they have affected him.
